I love March! It happens to be my birthday month, but it is also a time whereHOPE is RISING, and the newness that is SPRING is right around the corner. (CHEERS TO MY FELLOW PISCES!). It’s no surprise EASTER and PASSOVER fall into the March/April season each year. I leave you today with a few things you should look forward to this month!
- I decided when my boys started school that I would ALWAYS CELEBRATE SPRING BREAK even when they are out of school regardless if I’m 35 or 95. I encourage you to work on scheduling a spring break this week. Sometime this month, take a day or several to do something you love! As simple as an early spring picnic, a day fishing, a long walk in the woods…anything that makes your soul breathe deeply. If you do this, I’d love to hear about your adventure.
- Calling all sports fans! Even though I’m not a big college basketball fan, this month, I am definitely on the band wagon! HELLO NCAA MARCH MADNESS. The games, the “brackets” the way the community comes together and hovers around TVS in living rooms, restaurants, airports, and wherever they might be… The sheer excitement.(Also of note, Sporting KC kicks off the season in March)
- Regardless of the weather, which looks pretty decent actually for March, March gives us the season’s new and HAPPY COLORS (and for us gals, allows us to contemplate that moment where we soon can toss the boots and tights deep into our closets and bring out the sandals! Woot Woot!) HAPPY COLORS signify HOPE and as we step out onto our proverbial “front porches” we begin a season of EXPECTANCY!
